Learn to identify, screen, and manage eating disorders effectively in the Eating Disorders for Primary Health Nurses course.
Nurses will develop strategies and confidence in talking to and supporting people with eating disorders, awareness of at risk groups and the stigma that is associated with these illnesses. They will also learn about the relevant guidelines available that inform the evidenced based treatment of eating disorders in Australia.
Data science for health
The Data Analysis for Precision Health course provides participants with essential statistical skills to analyse and interpret health and medical data. Key topics include linear models, mixed effect models, logistic regression and survival analysis.
It is run by the Sydney Precision Data Science Centre, which drives innovation through data-intensive science, tackling critical challenges in health, biology, food systems, and conservation.
Health research
Learn how to partner in health research with the Consumers in Health Research: the Basics course. You'll discover the why, what, and how, including the rationale and ways consumers can be involved in health research partnerships with researchers and clinicians.ADHD co-management for general practitioners
Developed and funded by NSW Health and the University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre. The ADHD Co-Management Care for General Practitioners course is available to primary care practitioners interested in upskilling for ADHD collaborative care, including the treating and understanding the conditions.
Emergency preparedness
Led by Associate Professor Michelle Villeneuve and her team at the Centre for Disability Research and Policy, the National Resilient Australia award-winning Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP) Certificate Course strengthens emergency preparedness for individuals and groups. It focuses on function and emphasises the capabilities of people with disability and the roles of multiple stakeholders in reducing disaster risk, consistent with Australia’s national Emergency Management and Disabilities Strategies.
