Andrew Dyer

Andrew Dyer is an Associate Professor at Melbourne Law School, where he has been teaching since July 2024. Before moving to Melbourne, Andrew taught at Sydney Law School for over a decade. Andrew's research concerns criminal law and human rights law and the relationship between them. He is particularly interested in the intersection between moral reasoning and legal rules, and with achieving fair criminal law rules and processes.
