Dr Jyoti Bhattacharjya is a Lecturer in Sustainable Procurement and Digital Supply Chain Initiatives at the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies. Her research projects, often undertaken in collaboration with industry partners, focus on the application of predictive and generative AI in supply chain management.
Jyoti’s research has been published in high quality international journals including International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Production Planning & Control, International Journal of Logistics Management,and Transportation Research Part E. She also serves as a senior associate editor for International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management.
Jyoti has designed two AI-focused micro-credentials based on initial funding received from the NSW government. The first one, Strategic AI and Data Science for Supply Chain Management, gives both senior managers and senior analysts hands-on experience with state-of-the art AI tools as well as frameworks for AI governance and strategy. The second micro-credential, AI Projects for Supply Chain Management, provides professionals with an opportunity to experience the end-to-end AI project lifecycle.
Jyoti is passionate about helping both managers and analysts gain measurable value from adopting AI-based solutions in supply chain management. She manages a public group, AI Strategy for SCM, Logistics and Procurement, on LinkedIn to facilitate the sharing of ideas and experiences in a rapidly changing technological environment.
