Centre for International Security Studies
The Centre for International Security Studies produces innovative research and education programs that address security challenges faced by Australia, Asia-Pacific, and the world. The Centre uses a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with experts from around the world, and provides valuable insights to policymakers, NGOs, and the public. There are six key areas of research and teaching: Biosecurity, Ecosecurity, Gender Security, Infosecurity, and Regional Security.
New course: Preparing for a Quantum Future
This self-paced course will explain the quantum revolution emerging from universities, big tech, and governments and the pressing need for awareness of its geopolitical, societal and ethical implications.

SICLE supports community language schools through project work, resources and professional learning courses for teachers, principals and committees. They conduct research work to inform policy and promote evidence-based teaching approaches, with the aim of empowering teachers and students and promoting the value of community language education.
An online portal for community language resources was established by SICLE to support teaching in out-of-hours community languages schools, primary and secondary schools
SICLE also offers a range of programs for teachers working in community languages schools, in partnership with NSW Department of Education.
